Gardening is good for health and well-being. Regular gardening can help to improve flexibility, increase strength and maintain mobility. Being active and looking after your health helps to reduce the risk of falling.

In this fun and friendly group you will learn how to do common gardening tasks with better posture and coordination, so that you can keep active for years to come.

You might be a keen gardener who wants to know how to look after your body so that you can continue gardening for years to come.

You might have had an injury or pain that interferes with your enjoyment of gardening.

Or you might just like to get some handy tips about how to bend, kneel, squat, dig, and keep your balance as you work in the garden!

This popular workshop is a regular feature of the Bendigo Seniors Festival in October.
Check the City of Greater Bendigo Guide to Seniors Week or this website for the date in 2020.
If you’d like to learn more about how to look after yourself when working in the garden, contact Jane about an individual Alexander session or book a small group class with some friends.
