Jane Azul




Jane graduated from the School for FM Alexander Studies in Melbourne in 2007. She is a member of the Australian Society for Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AUSTAT).

Jane is a ‘Health Care Provider’ with AUSTAT. Health funds may offer rebates on lessons with Jane.

Jane is an Assistant Trainer with Optimum Dental Posture , a program which specializes in the recovery and prevention of work related injuries in the dental profession using the Alexander Technique.

Jane is a qualified Yoga teacher (Registered with Yoga Australia) with over two decades of experience in applying Alexander Technique principals to yoga practice. She is a qualified Social Worker who works in the area of mental health.

Jane initially found the Alexander Technique helpful with body awareness and coordination. It also helped her to deal with a shoulder injury she got from doing repetitive tasks at work. After a series of lessons, she realised that the Alexander Technique principles were helping her to prevent injuries from developing, to feel more confident and to manage stress.

Passionate about supporting people in a practical and accessible way, Jane helps students to manage the challenges that they face in their work and everyday environments.

As well as individual lessons with students, Jane offers small group yoga classes with a focus on adapting yoga poses to suit individual bodies and needs.

Jane has been living in Bendigo with her family since 2012.

Paul Hampton


Paul trained at the Melbourne Alexander Teacher Training School and graduated in 2000. He is a member of the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AUSTAT).

He has worked for most of his life in the professional theatre as a director and actor. He was a Lecturer in Acting in the School of Drama at the Victorian College of the Arts and taught acting for 10 years at the Arts Academy, Federation University, Ballarat.

Paul is a cyclist, walker and conservationist.

He also teaches classes in public speaking, image-based movement and walking/cycling with ease.
